How to read it
A flag, not a verdict.
- Cited after retractionThe paper kept collecting citations in the years after its retraction. Some of those citations warn about it. Phase 2 reads them to find out which.
- CleanNo citations after the retraction year. The correction, for once, held.
- The reasonEach row shows the first reason Retraction Watch records. Some retractions are paperwork, like a duplicate posting, where citing the work may do no harm.
- Right of replyAnyone named in a result can reply, and the reply is attached to the record.
